This is one such style ,similar to Pandanallur and Vazhuvoor. The dance form is based on the art of Rajadasi. The form is imbibed with elements such as dramatic , the exploits of lord Krishna and other deities. There is a profusion of abstract movements and poses, symbolic hand gestures and elaborated facial expressions. It originated in a city in Karnataka, Mysore.
